Bar Pascucci Frullati

Bar Pascucci, located just off Largo di Torre Argentina, sells a variety of delicious and refreshing smoothies (frullati).

Thanks to the central location, the frullati at Bar Pascucci are a great way to refresh yourself after a long walk around the city. On a hot day, tucking into an ice cold Misto Amalfi is sheer heaven.

The frullati (a combination of fruit, syrup, and crushed ice) are mixed together in one of a row of antique blenders, and there are plenty of choices, all around the €2-€3 mark. (It’s just as well there are plenty of choices on the menu, as rumour has it they don’t take too kindly to custom requests.)

Bar Pascucci was first opened in 1937, and like many establishments in Rome, the bar has a slightly fluid name; it’s also known as Bar Pascucci Frullati, Frullati Pascucci, or Pascucci Frullati, depending on whom you ask.
